JENNIE THWING

The Home Project

The Home Project is a series of stop motion animations that address the subject of “home.” I asked the public to write short stories that describe the significance of the objects, memories or emotions connected with the word home. Using the stories and the author as my subject I created visual animated metaphors.

This work was created at the Vermont Studio Center, Johnson, VT June, 2014. It was funded by a 2014 Queens Individual Artist Grant Queens Council for the Arts and a 2014-15 CFEVA Artist Fellowship
